Going away for a little while....

Hey guys, I have something really exciting going on right now which will prevent me from having internet or access to my phone for a little while. All will be revealed soon and you guys will understand! I cannot wait to be back online blogging so stay tuned... I have tonnes of outfit posts to come! Thank you all for your support and I will be back posting in August! Xx

Afroluxe

Last month I shot with Trade Secret for their new Afroluxe range and indulged my wild side as animal prints prowled back into the spotlight. The Afroluxe trend first showcased by Missoni, Givenchy and Mulberry is easy to incorporate into your look. With African and snake prints slithering into the new Trade Secret Afroluxe collection you will be sure to undergo a zoological make-over. Check out their range Here and above is a short behind the scene video from the day Xx

Toni & Guy Mosman

Today I was treated by the Toni & Guy team in Mosman to a much needed hair makeover and experienced the ultimate pampering experience. Toni and Guy Mosman provides a slick, modern and trendy atmosphere and Heidi Pfiffner the salon owner (and award winning hairdresser) has hand picked her elite team of stylists and technicians to ensure you leave happy! For 23 years I have kept my natural colour and finally today I popped my colour cherry and decided to add some natural highlights to my hair. After remaining a hair virgin for almost a quarter of a century I was slightly nervy and the very talented Lauren Waite (colour queen!) had me leaving with more than a smile on my face. Heidi and style director Ben Williams (aka best blow dryer in town) have recently renovated the salon with the height of luxury in mind. The mix of custom built furniture and glass heart featured light creates a beautiful and relaxed space. With T2 tea to indulge in, leg rests and possibly the best head massage I have ever had (Thanks Lauren!!), the Mosman salon left me wanting to come back for more! Visit the Mosman Toni and Guy for a make over or check out their facebook page here to keep up to date with their latest Hair Expo shots (featured above!). Thanks again Toni and Guy Mosman! Xx

Capital L

The beautiful girls from Capital L had me in their store last week and we played dress ups with their new range. Capital L is a one stop shop, a pioneer boutique that selects the most amazing creations from the best of our emerging designers, along with an array of well established Australian and New Zealand labels. Yakira has a killer eye and can style you up and Kim will help you help you re-invent your look so that by the time you walk out the store you will feel like a new you! Capital L stocks some of my favourite brands including By Johnny, Bec & Bridge, Amber and Thomas, LifewithBird, Romance Was Born, Stylestalker, Lonely Hearts, Arnsdorf... and to top it off they have a killer range of Karen Walker Eyewear. Capital L you complete me Xx Check out their website here or visit the girls in store and they will help style you up.
Today I'm wearing: House of Wilde sapphire sequin shorts, Karen Walker Eyewear, Alexander Wang bag, Rose gold collar (All from capital L) & Sabo Skirt Shaggy Knit jumper

Madden in love

Steve Madden X Capital L = the perfect concoction of Boho-Chic. Today I channelled my Bohemian and Hippie style and featured a 60's look. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to the Bohemian look and it is all about being yourself, comfortable and natural. The idea behind Boho-Chic is self-expression and this means anything goes! The Steve Madden Desirred shoes add a sprinkle of "gypsy" to the look and the ankle boots with their chunky heel and hidden platform are a closet staple. I have been dreaming about vamping them up with this Batwing crochet dress and a sack-like beaded hobo bag.
What I'm Wearing: Steve Madden Desirred Shoes, Necklace by Assad Mounser, House of Wilde Eagle Wing Jumper and Karen Walker Iris Eyewear from Capital L

My weeks are generally so busy and filled with Commerce Law lectures, blogging, designing, working on the new underwear label I have helped launch (Boody), sourcing clothes and styling so when the weekend comes around I am very ready to hang out with my girlfriends and have some much needed "me" time. Whilst Saturday was filled with all the errands you never get around to doing during the week, I spent the day on Sunday with my best friend Elle. Picture this... two girls... 6 bags filled with new threads, one new pair of frames and a perfectly brewed espresso and coconuts to end off the afternoon. Retail therapy is the best :) Looking forward to blogging the new threads I treated myself to in the next coming week Xx
